The AFCC National Committee, in conjunction with the Adelaide Conference Sub-Committee    are pleased to announce that the 2016 Adelaide Conference has been approved by                 the Attorney-General's Department for 2016 OPD compliance.
 
In order to qualify in full for 2016 OPD compliance, delegates will be expected to attend for      the duration of the Conference, including all plenary sessions
(Marked ** on the conference programme)
from Monday morning 11th July 2016 until Tuesday afternoon 12th July 2016.      
This includes the Attorney-General's two-hour compulsory OPD activity.
 
While delegates are strongly encouraged to make the best of the whole conference programme and experience, attendance at all other sessions, presentations, social activities and outings is not a requirement for OPD compliance purposes. 

Conference Programme

 

Sunday 10th July 2016  

 

3:00  to 5:00 pm.  You're invited to "sign in" and collect your conference bag from the registration desk located upstairs at the Stamford Grand, Glenelg.   Join colleagues in the bar for a coffee, wine or beer (self funded) and if you're a first time delegate or flying solo, you'll be warmly welcomed and introduced to your fellow celebrants. National Committee representatives will be available for a friendly chat from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

 

5:30 - 7:30 pm.  Cindy's Classic Gourmet "Winter Wonderland Welcome"  Dress warmly for this event - drinks and canapes included. From 7:30 enjoy some free time, perhaps dinner at any one of the many great restaurants in the area.

 

Monday 11th July 2016 

 

7:30 am If you couldn't "sign in" on Sunday afternoon please sign in and collect your conference bag any time from 7.30 am.  Sessions will commence promptly at 8.30 am, (morning, afternoon tea and lunch included.)

Monday evening: you are free to choose from one of two Adelaide experiences each at $10 per head, or you may simply enjoy a free evening.

 

  •   A formal reception hosted by The Governer, His Excellency, The Honourable Hieu Van Le A.O., at Government House. This event is for delegates only.  Due to the size of this historic home, formal receptions are strictly limited to a maximum  of 130 guests.

  •  A guided tour of the famous Adelaide Oval. This tour takes approx. 1 hour, and will take in some of the history of this iconic Oval. The tour does include some walking. This event is open for Delegates, their Partners and Guests.

7:30 pm till late  " A Moment in Time" Gala Dinner Finale - at the Stamford Grand. A night not to be missed.

The gala dinner will be a fitting finale to celebrate the conclusion of our educational programme. The theme is "Bling in the Ballroom" and after two days filled with top class training, it's time to relax and unwind networking with friends both old and new. Partners and guests are more than welcome. 

 

 

Wednesday 13th July 2016

 

9:00am to 3:30 pm. You're invited to stay on and enjoy a special day of networking. Leaving from the Stamford Grand and heading to the Southern Vales Wine Region, enjoying the sights and tastes of McLaren Vale. After a delicious lunch at Oliver's Chaff Shed in McLaren Vale we will return to Glenelg by 3:30. Partners and guests are most welcome.
